Dislikes

  • Where's my "auto-sort inventory" button?!
  • 2D enemies in the 3D dungeon crawling space can look a bit off (but work well during fights!)
  • Hub town screen is fairly static making it feel a tad lifeless
  • Holding mouse button to select abilities every turn can become tiresome after a while (hot bar or hotkeys could help)
  • The "esc" key doesn't back out of all screens

The Final Word

Hello Crawler.

Feel free to accept any one of these randomly assigned mercenary jobs where you will dive into procedurally generated, grid-based dungeons, fight killer robots, giant giga-worms, and space pirates. Don't worry you're not alone, select a crew from many unique classes: Cthulhu tentacle spawning Void Psykers, hell-raining construct-a-bot Engineers, and virus-infecting kill-switching Hackers. What's that piece of junk in your hands? Be sure to replace it with one of the mass amounts of glorious EPIC loot awaiting you on your mission.

Oh and crawler, there's this "black market" thing — super rare loot — you didn't hear it from me.

Voidfox out.

Worth it?

Yes
